Copyright reports and counter-notices
Made by Auren requires customers to own or have permission to use submitted materials. This page explains how a copyright owner may report material hosted through the service and how an affected customer may respond.
Notice of claimed infringement
A notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material and its precise URL, provide the complaining party’s contact information, state a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, state under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and the sender is authorized to act, and include a physical or electronic signature.
Where to send it
Email notices to support@madebyauren.com. The formal U.S. Copyright Office designated-agent record has not yet been confirmed in this application. Reports are still reviewed, but Made by Auren does not claim DMCA safe-harbor completion until the owner finishes and publishes that designation.
Review and removal
Made by Auren may preserve the report, notify the affected customer, disable access to the identified material while reviewing, request missing information, and record repeat infringement. False or materially misleading notices may create liability.
Counter-notice
An affected customer may submit a signed counter-notice identifying the removed material and prior location, stating under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, providing name, address, and phone, and consenting to the jurisdiction and service requirements of 17 U.S.C. §512(g). Made by Auren may restore material after the statutory period when legally appropriate and no court action is reported.
Repeat infringement
Made by Auren may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and may act sooner for deliberate, dangerous, or unlawful conduct.
